Ukraine Crisis: Why should all the credit go to YSRCP only, feels Chandrababu?

Update: 2022-03-22 07:26 GMT
TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu is upset that all his efforts to console the Telugu students in Ukraine, who were caught up in the war, have failed to boost his image. Interestingly, a large number of Telugu students, who were brought back to their homes by the Central Government, have thanked CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Not one of them met Chandrababu and praised his role.

As soon as the Ukraine war erupted, Chandrababu Naidu held zoom meetings with the Telugu students trapped in the war-torn area. He gave them pep talk and ensured that these talks get wide publicity in the pliant media. The media too hyped this up and spoke about his role in consoling the students in Ukraine.

But, unbeknown to Chandrababu, the YSRCP government has constituted a committee and prepared a comprehensive list of the students trapped in Ukraine. They coordinated with the Central Government to bring back the Telugu students. They were brought to AP from Delhi and Mumbai cities, where they landed from Ukraine.

No wonder, the parents and the students met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and thanked him for his initiative. Unable to stomach this, Chandrababu is said to have asked the party functionaries to at least get a delegation of the students from Ukraine and bring them to him.  He has reportedly asked a delegation of the students from a community that usually backs the TDP to be brought to him for photo-ops.
