As per the latest rankings of the travel site TripAdvisor, Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan is being named as the World's Best Hotel.
Umaid Bhawan Palace is an Golden-Yellow Sandstone Monument built in the year 1943. It was designed by Edwardian architect Henry Lanchester. The palace was named after Maharaja Umaid Singh and it was used as a residence of Jodhpur Royal Family.
Among the 347 Rooms in the Palace, Taj Hotels manage 64 rooms & suites, and they are open for Tourists. A couple have to pay Rs 50,000 per night for a single room. There is also museum in Umaid Bhawan Palace.
The only other Indian Hotel to find a place in TripAdvisor's Top 25 Hotels list is Karnataka's Orange county Resorts Kabini. It was ranked 13th among the best hotels in the World.
