Watch: Umpire drags Chris Gayle out of the Ground!

Update: 2016-03-21 12:22 GMT
Cricket lovers have witnessed unusual scenes during West Indies-Sri Lanka ICC World T20 match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Chennai.

Batting first, Sri Lanka posted a score of 122 runs in 20 Overs. Chris Gayle didn't open the batting for West Indies due to the hamstring injury he suffered during the first half of the match. He was out of the field for a considerable amount of time because of the same reason.

After Dinesh Ramdin's dismissal in the 13th Over, Chris Gayle got ready to complete the task of making West Indies emerge victorious. That's when Fourth Umpire Ian Gould came into action by signaling that the destructive batsman has to wait for two more minutes to bat as he left the field for so much time during Sri Lanka's batting. The Umpire, though in a lighter vein, dragged Gayle out of the ground and guided him towards the dressing room by holding his hand tightly.

Fans of RCB were disappointed due to the absence of Gayle. They kept chanting 'Gayle…Gayle' during the West Indies batting. After West Indies won the game, Gayle posted, 'Great team win tonight. The Bengaluru crowd/fans always amazing, sorry y'all didn't see me bat tonight but I will be back. #OneLove #WT20'.
