Umpire Nigel Llong is in trouble for losing his cool and kicked the door in the Umpires room after the match between RCB and SunRisers Hyderabad at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday.
During the match, Nigel Llong had an argument with RCB Skipper Virat Kohli over a controversial no-ball. While Nigel Llong signalled a no-ball in Umesh Yadav's Over, TV Replays showed it's a legal delivery. Immediately, Virat Kohli questioned the Umpire how can he make such a blunder. After the match, The 50-Year-Old Umpire from England showed his frustration on the door in the Umpires room.
Nigel Llong will have to face an inquiry from BCCI over the misconduct. He, however, will be one of the Umpires for the IPL Final scheduled to happen in Hyderabad this week.
Mr.Llong has got a vast experience. He acted as Umpire for 56 Tests, 123 ODIs and 32 T20s. He is one of the Umpires for upcoming ICC ODI World Cup in England.
