Undavalli Arun Kumar claimed clueless why Chandrababu Naidu isn't revolting against Centre despite backtracking on many promises. 'I can't understand what is the weak point of Chandrababu. Cash-for-vote Case isn't something that will trouble him. That case will go to cold storage after Revanth Reddy joined Congress. Never been before a Government made a debt of Rs 1 lakh in 3 years. After bifurcation, AP's share was Rs 96,000 crore. Today, It's been increased to Rs 2.16 lakh crore. How did they spent these money? Is that the weak point Centre found in Chandrababu? I couldn't understand why he is so scared! Why because, Babu is the most efficient politician in the country at present. He is well experienced & knew how to get things done but still he surrendered,' he comments.
The Former MP pointed out it's been mentioned in AP Reorganisation Act 2014 that Centre will bear the complete expenditure of Polavaram Project. He made it clear neither Chandrababu nor Centre have the right to stop Polavaram Project.
Undavalli stresses the need for debate on implementation of promises made in AP Reorganisation Act 2014 in upcoming Parliament session by uniting all the like-minded parties. 'I had warned Chandrababu about Modi long back. Modi and Amit Shah want power in AP. They won't do anything if BJP doesn't form government here. They don't even care those Leaders who face cases. If Centre pays only as per estimates of 2014, How can the project get completed? Does the costs remain standard? Why would any contractor come forward in such case?,' he says.
The Ex-MP feels the necessity to stall the Government. He believes Modi will pay the price if Chandrababu revolts at least now. He wants the voting to happen in Parliament whether assurances given in Acts should be implemented or not.
