Update: 2017-12-28 07:30 GMT
Rajahmundry EX MP Undavalli Arun Kumar has given some interesting predictions on the upcoming polls in the Andhra Pradesh state. Considering the results of the Gujarat polls, the ex-MP predicted that there are chances for a collaboration of both BJP and TDP parties in the state. Undavalli also made predictions about the strategies that various political parties will implement for the upcoming elections. Undavalli revealed this in the latest interview to a popular TV News channel.

"There is absolutely no chance for BJP's victory in the Southern states. BJP and TDP might come together once again for the 2019 elections. The decision will be taken by BJP higher officials according to their situation by the time of the elections. BJP high command is also thinking about going solo. If the election is organised for Parliament and Assembly simultaneously, there are more chances for a friendship between the two parties but it might change if the elections are not organised in a simultaneous fashion." said Undavalli, adding, "We may witness major transformations in politics depending on the result of 2018 Assembly elections."

The Assembly elections are going to be organised for six states in 2018 and Undavalli is hopeful that the people of AP would take their decision after examining the results of those polls. The senior politician expressed an opinion that Chandrababu Naidu will also think about supporting BJP.

Talking about BJP's domination in the Southern states, he told that BJP has a holdover Karnataka state. "Except Karnataka, there is no chance for BJP to earn a survival in the other four South states," revealed Arun Kumar.
