Covid-19 Vaccine Would Be Made Available By The First Quarter Of 2021: Union Health Minister
In the light of the ongoing pandemic ringing the danger bells in the country, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan came up with good news about the availability of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Harsh Vardhan participated in a meeting involving a Group of Ministers. Talking at the meeting, he said they are expecting to have the vaccine by the early next year, media reports claimed.
He even said the vaccine can be made available in the country from more than one source. The concerned experts are preparing the required plans to distribute the vaccine across the nation.
Taking the size of the population in the country into consideration, one vaccine manufacturer cannot meet the requirements. That's why we are open to introducing more Covid-19 vaccines based on availability.
He went on to say that if everything goes well as planned the potential vaccine to cure the Covid-19 is likely to be made available by the first quarter of next year.
