UP CM Is Great Demand In Bihar Elections

Update: 2020-10-23 03:38 GMT
Who is the most sought after election campaigner in the Bihar elections for the NDA alliance? It's not Narendra Modi, not even Amit Shah. Even Nitish Kumar is a lesser draw compared to this leader. The leader who is in great demand in Bihar elections is UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Adityanath Yogi will address 20 rallies and will campaign for six days all across Bihar and especially in the Western Bihar. In comparison, the PM will address 10 rallies and Amit Shah will address 15 rallies. There is great demand for Yogi all across Bihar and even candidates belonging to the JDU too are asking for his dates. Some JDU leaders prefer Yogi to Nitish Kumar, who is facing some anti-incumbency.

One reason for Yogi's popularity is his unabashed espousal of Hindutwa brand of politics. His role in Ayodhya movement, his strong action against Love Jihad cases and anti-CAA protests have made a hero out of him. Not just that, he represents Gorakhpur district. He was a five time MP and an MLA now. The Gorakhpur Mutt, of which he is the chief pontiff, has great influence in Western Bihar. Hence cutting across parties, the NDA candidates are asking for Yogi to campaign for them.
