A Couple from Uttar Pradesh claims the deaf and mute Indian girl (Geeta) who was stuck in Pakistan since the past 14 years is their Daughter.
Ramraj Gautam and Anara Devi of Thammohan village in Pratapgarh district says this Indian girl who is addressed as Geeta in Pakistan is their missing daughter Savita. The couple say they were unable to find their missing daughter since 2004. They say their daughter who ages 4 went missing in Chhapra district of Bihar.
Anara Devi claims she first recognised the girl on News Channels and the approached the police. The district administration was asked to verify the claims of this couple.
Geeta who is currently 23-years-old made Karachi her home after all the attempts to trace her family in India failed to yield any results. Success of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has thrown a light on the real life tale of this Indian girl in Pakistan.
