America is the dreamland for many Indians be it students or employees. Given the rise in the demand for US visas, the waiting period for the visas has increased massively. On average it is taking over a year to get a visa appointment. The lack of staff members in sufficient numbers is also playing its role in increasing the waiting period.
India is one of the biggest talent polls to the United States and skilled people from India already hold good positions in various companies and a few others are hoping to get their visas. To help them, the United States diplomatic mission, the US Consulate came up with a piece of good news.
The US Consulate is going to have a new mighty office in the Financial District, Cyberabad, Hyderabad. The proposed office is said to be built on a massive budget of $300 Million and the office will be having all the required facilities to facilitate a bigger workforce with dedicated desks for the staff.
The proposed building will have over 200 desks for the staff to take care of visa and passport applications. Once the office starts functioning, then the aspirants from Telugu states and neighboring Odisha would get big relief from the waiting period.
Announcing the news of having a massive building for the US Consulate, the personnel recalled the long journey it has had in Hyderabad for over a decade and expressed a belief that the new establishment would be made ready soon and would fly the United States flag at the new building.
It has to be mentioned here that the US Consulate has been working at the office loathed in Paigah Palace since 2008. Over the years, the establishment has been overseeing the visa and passport process of aspirants. Now the new building will make the process even easier with a bigger workforce and extra facilities.
With the new office having more windows and an extra workforce the US government is hopeful that the establishment would serve more aspirants and make the friendly ties between the two nations even stronger. The new office will come in the heart of the Financial District.
