In the wake of the deadly outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the US government has come up with a piece of good news and said that H 1B visa holders and Green Card applicants will be given a grace period of 60 days for those who have received the notices on the submission of the documents.
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued a statement in this regard and said that the 60-days grace period will be subjected to the requests for evidence continuations to request evidence (N 14) also.
"USCIS will consider a response to the above requests and notices received within 60 calendar days after the response due date set in the request or notice before taking action," the statement read.
Earlier the US President Donald Trump said that the immigration process in the United States of America will be halted for a certain period of time which left the US aspirants in a state of shock.
