Ahead of the much anticipated US Presidential elections 2020, the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School has conducted a national poll to find out who the American youth supports.

Well,  the survey outcome turned out to be indigestible for the serving President of United States Donald Trump, who is running for the White House elections for the second time.

The survey stated that as much as 56% of youth are in favour of Democratic Party Presidential candidate Joe Biden while 41% of youth remain not in favour of him.

Interestingly, the percentage of youth who want to cast their vote in the upcoming elections has increased. More than 63% of youth said that they will exercise their voting right. In the previous elections, i.e 2014,  43% of young voters cast their votes.

A majority of youth between the age group of 18 and 29 showed their interest in casting their vote, which is a good sign of progress.

Director of Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School, Mark Gearan which conducted the poll, called the youth coming forward to cast their vote as a key to the future.
