The row over Hindi as the national language is not over yet as at regular intervals big personalities from the southern states are hitting back at the opinion. The states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are strongly opposing the opinion and showing their resistance on this issue.
Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan joined the list and said that it is his responsibility to say that Tamil will prosper as it is his mother tongue. His comments came in the wake of everyone talking about Hindi as the national language and the leaders are strongly pushing for it.
Saying that he is not against the Hindi language, Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan said that if it's a matter of Tamil Language then he will not shy away from standing against the Hindi language. Kamal Haasan urged everyone to not leave their mother tongue.
