T-PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy claims to have escaped death inspite of the flight accident while serving in the Indian Air Force. 'One in 10 lakh people won't survive in such kind of accidents. Currently, I am living My Bonus Life,' he said.

At the age of 16, Reddy underwent the training at Defence Academy in Pune. He worked as Pilot Officer in Air Force before entering Politics. The single-pilot helicopter which he was operating blasted mid-air while it was flying near the border. Using the ejection button and parachute, He did manage to land safety in the nearby forest. Uttam's backbone was fractured in this accident and it took him six months to recover. As the spinalcord would damage completely if he continues pilot duty, Air Chief Marshal contacted President to shift him to Peace Posting Job. Later, He became a permanent employee in Rashtrapathi Bhavan following transformation from Military to IAS.

Uttam warned there will be a 'Silent Revolution' against the TRS Government in the near future. He found fault with TRS encouraging defections from Opposition Parties. 'Even Public could say the packages offered by KCR to lure Opposition MPs and MLAs. KCR is ensuring Media doesn't cover the ground realities. Telangana People won't tolerate arrogance. This Government didn't take action when Dalits were tortured by Police,' he alleged.
