Former MP V Hanumantha Rao on Thursday visited Kirlampudi to console Kapu Leader Mudragada Padmanabham.
VH reached East Godavari from New Delhi Today to meet Mudragada who has ended his indefinite fast few days ago. Speaking to media after the meeting, The T-Congress Leader demanded Centre to provide adequate protection to Mudragada. He expressed confidence that Mudragada would accomplish his mission of Kapu reservation successfully.
Following the arrest of 13 People by CID in connection with Tuni violence, Mudragada begun fast-unto-death seeking their release. After his health deteriorated, State Government co-operated for the bail of the accused. It was only after all the 13 culprits were granted bail, Mudragada ended the fast at his residence in Kirlampudi. He then accused TDP Government of treating him as an international terrorist when he was fasting. He also alleged Cops abused his family members while shifting them to the hospital. Lastly, He pledged to continue the battle until the demands of Kapus were fulfilled by the Government.
