Nuclear Bomb on Pak? Vajpayee's Idea!

Update: 2015-12-02 11:22 GMT
Did India consider using Nuclear Bomb in Kargil War to teach a fitting lesson to Pakistan? This might have happened for sure if the war lasted for few more days in 1999.

Then Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee sent a secret letter to US President Bill Clinton during the Kargil war only to inform that India would be using Nuclear option if Pakistan infiltrators don't withdraw from Indian territory.

Former National Security Advisor Brajesh Mishra revealed two months before his death that neither crossing the Line of Control nor using of nuclear weapons was ruled out. These truths were disclosed in NDTV's consulting editor Barkha Dutt's new book 'This Unquiet Land - Stories from India's Fault Lines'. It was also mentioned in the book that Army chalked out a '6 day war' plan to cross the India-Pakistan border in less than a week if such a situation arises.
