Where is the Romance?: Venkaiah Naidu

Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu attended the Indywood Film Festival held at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. On this occasion, He made few interesting comments on the present day Cinema.

Venkaiah Naidu: 'In those days, Hero-Heroine used to generate romance with just facial expressions without  touching each other and skin show. But now, Young Actors were unable to deliver it even with touching and exposing'.

At the same time, Naidu opined Indian Cinema have the potential to reach World-class standards. 'While Indian Industry is worth 126 billion in 2014, It will grow up to 2019 by 2019. India have a great culture and legacy. It remains No.1 in many aspects including film production. Films should convey a good social message. Foreigners should invest here, provide entertainment and make money,' he wished.

Ramoji Rao was honoured with Life Time Achievement Award at the Indywood Film Festival. Venkaiah Naidu handed over the award to the Media Baron.
