Naidu Demands To Disqualify Defected MLAs and MPs

Update: 2016-05-11 11:21 GMT
Central Minister for Panchayati Raj M Venkaiah Naidu who is maintaining healthy silence on illicit party defections in Telugu states has opened his mouth after facing Uttarakhand insult. BJP party has failed to prove its strength in the Assmebly after rebel Congress MLAs disqualified to cast their vote in assembly.

As the party faced defeat Venkaiah Naidu decided to speak  on defections and said that all those who defect the party should be disqualified.

"If an MP or MLA chose to change party after winning on a party ticket they need to resign to the post and seek mandate again. There should be a predefined time to fix cases under anti-defections act" Naidu said

It's known that Congress party is set to return to power in Uttarakhand after the Chief minister Harish Rawat had won a trust vote that conducted yesterday.  Rawat got the support of 33 of the 61 MLAs and with this the centre has informed the supreme court to lift ban on President's Rule which was imposed in last march.

Does Naidu maintain same stand on defections in Andhra and Telangana too?
