Naidu to be next President of India?

Update: 2017-06-11 07:35 GMT
Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu kept saying he isn't in race for President of India until recently. But now, He expressed his willingness to contest the Presidential Polls if party leadership is in favour of him.

All these days, Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu stood as the front-runner to replace outgoing Pranab Mukherjee. All of the sudden the name of Venkaiah Naidu surfaced and the Union Minister gave enough hints in this regard.

Analysts say, This could be a strategic move of NDA. The plan was to play Dalit card by fielding Draupadi Murmu if the contest is tough. As NDA believes it has got ample support from various parties to win the Presidential Polls, Venkaiah Naidu is being projected as the Candidate. If this leaks come true, Venkaiah will be the only Telugu man to become President after Sanjeev Reddy.
