Update: 2019-12-19 09:44 GMT
Vice President and the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha M. Venkaiah Naidu said that the parties should control the “unruly behavior” of party members in the Parliament.

He also said that the media should not simply report the "disorderly scenes" in the house rather focus to cover the good views and speeches given by the members.

"Political parties should take care of their members and control their unruly behavior," Mr. Naidu said.

"Voice is not reported, noise is reported. This is my grievance. Views expressed by some members should be well reported. This is one area, the media should introspect," he added.

He also said that the idea to merge Rajya Sabha TV and Lok Sabha Tv is under process and a committee was set up to study various models followed in other nations.

Talking about the judiciary reforms, Mr. Naiud stressed the need to have more benches of the Supreme Court to cut short the pending cases and expenditure on litigants.
