Even before cricket lovers across the World could forget the ball-tampering saga of Steve Smith, David Warner and Bancroft, A Video of another Australian Cricketer trying to change the condition of the ball surfaced.
On the first day of 3rd Test Match against South Africa, Opener Dean Elgar played a defensive stroke towards the Bowler Pat Cummins during the 53rd Over of First Innings. Pat Cummins seems to have deliberately stepped on the ball with spikes.
Pat Cummins, however, ruled out stepping on the ball intentionally and termed it as a mistake. Former South African skipper Graeme Smith who was in the commentary box then said 'accidentally on purpose'. Umpire decided to continue the play after inspecting the ball. But now, The video has gone viral and raised many eyebrows.
In the fourth and final Test Match, South Africa opted to bat first and posted a total of over 410 runs by now. Australia will have to win this Test Match to win the series.
