UK newspaper The Sunday Guardian published the interview of Vijay Mallya few days ago stating that he claims to be feeling its not the right time to return to India as he is being victimized by the witch-hunt of media.
Vijay Mallya, however, denies giving an interview to The Sunday Guardian. 'Shocked to see Sunday Guardian's claim that I exchanged mails with them from my proton mail account. Have never heard of proton mail before. Sunday Guardian's claim that I wrote to them from my so called proton mail account to the reporters proton mail account is a total fake,' he told.
The Sunday Guardian has now released the emails exchanged to prove its claims. The website of the daily reads, The Sunday Guardian stands by its interview of Mr.Vijay Mallya. It added Mallya personally responded to the email sent to him on March 10th. On March 12th, The Daily received a reply from the email id: vjmallya@protonmail.com. The Sunday Guardian also says Mallya's legal counsel's office has confirmed the id.
