Vijayasai Reddy not happy with Union Budget

YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Union Budget 2020-21 announced by the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Lok Sabha.

The MP has addressed the media post the budget sessions and had an opinion that the budget is of no use for the AP, which is highly based on the Agricultural sector. He was accompanied by his fellow party MPs at the Vijay Chowk in the National capital.

He went on to say that he is very happy with the deposit Insurance coverage being enhanced from existing Rs 1 lakh to 5 lakh per depositor. He said that rising inflation is not a good idea.

Mr. Reddy said the state should be allotted the rightful share of the agriculture allocations. He also raised a question on the central government promising that the farmer’s income will be double and there is no mention of it in the budget.

He also demanded that the Centre should release the funds of the Polavaram project and the funds which were meant for the development of the backward districts in the state. There is no mention about AP special status, he said.
