Kohli beats Lara, equals Sachin & Sehwag!

Update: 2017-12-03 08:05 GMT
Run-machine Virat Kohli is unstoppable. He scored a double century in the third and final Test Match against Sri Lanka at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi. The Skipper made 243 runs playing just 287 balls in the first innings.

Virat Kohli equalled the record of Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag for Most Double Centuries (6) representing India at the International Level. The Delhi Boy managed to have two double tons in this series itself and that too in a consecutive manner.

Until now, West Indies legend Brain Lara used to hold the record of Most Double Tons as Captain. Virat Kohli broke that record in just a couple of years. He is also the only Indian to score 500 runs in three different Test Series.

So far, India reached a score of 536 for 7. The declaration could be made post Tea if Sri Lanka fails to all-out India.
