Virat Kohli Shatters Sachin's Record

Update: 2019-06-17 05:51 GMT
Virat Kohli reached another milestone. The Indian Skipper broke the record set by Sachin Tendulkar during the India versus Pakistan World Cup league match on Sunday.

Until now, Sachin Tendulkar used to hold the record of fastest to score 11,000 ODI runs (276 Innings, 284 Matches). Kohli managed to achieve this feat in just 222 Innings. The Run Machine also holds the record of fastest to score 10,000 runs.

Kohli is the only cricketer who could break Sachin's record of most ODI Centuries. While Sachin made 49 centuries in his glorious career, Kohli have already made 41 hundreds.

India won against Pakistan by a margin of 89 runs as per D/L Method. While the target was 302 in 40 Overs, Pakistan could only manage 212 runs at the loss of 6 wickets.

Currently, India is behind Australia and New Zealand in the points table. With victories against Australia, South Africa and Pakistan, Men In Blue is inching closer to the Semis.
