True colors of Narendra Modi-led NDA Government got exposed now. In its affidavit to the Supreme Court, Union Home Ministry informed that bifurcation promises such as Visakha Railway Zone & Railway Coach Factory to Telangana aren't feasible.
Centre pointed out Railway Board mentioning in it's report dated on March 12th, 2018 about the same thing. It said Task Force Members opined new Railway Zone is of no use when there are already 16 Railway Zones in the country. Even the Task Force disapproved Railway Coach Factory in Telangana saying existing five Railway Coach Factories in India were under utilized.
Regarding the Vijayawada Metro Rail project, Union Government made it clear that approval can be granted only if AP Government submits revised DPR (Detailed Project Report) according to the latest policy announced by it.
When it comes to Division of staff between AP and Telangana, Central Government conveys transfer of about 753 employees is still pending due to few legal and governance issues.
