Andhra Pradesh which has been reporting the highest spike of cases every other day yet again reported the highest hop of cases in the last 24 hours with a whopping 6,045 fresh infections.
With the latest addition of the fresh infections, the total infections of the virus in the state zoomed to 64713. 58 fresh casualties were reported in the last 24 hours and the total casualties zoomed to 823.
Going by the information provided by the health bulletin, a total of 49,553 samples were tested for the contagious disease and 6,045 fresh infections were detected. As of now, a whopping 14,35,827 samples have been tested in the state.
On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh reported the highest number of recoveries in a single-day with 6,494 recoveries which takes the total recoveries of the contagious disease to 32127.
For the first time, the number of recovered cases of the ongoing pandemic surpassed the number of active cases in the state. The active cases in the state stood at 31763.
