The ongoing protests observed by the trade unions of Vizag Steel Plant against the Union Government's decision to privatise the steel plant received support from the TRS Working President, IT Minister KTR.
KTR slammed Centre in this regard and said he is in support of the protests. The IT Minister even said, if necessary, he would visit Visakhapatnam to fight for saving the Steel Plant.
The TRS Working President breathed fire on the Narendra Modi-led Union Government for privatising the Vizag Steel Plant, the pride of Andhra Pradesh, and the port city Visakhapatnam.
The employees of the Trade Unions of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant pored milk on KTR's portrait and thanked the Minister for extending his support to the protest and standing in solidarity with them.
On the other hand, Megastar Chiranjeevi had also supported the ongoing protests and urged everyone to raise everyone above regions and parties to fight to save the Vizag Steel plant.
