Haryana has recently appointed Bollywood diva Parineeti Chopra as the brand ambassador for the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign. It is heard that she isn't charging a penny for being ambassador of the program which has UNICEF and Government of India supporting it.
Couple of ministers of the Haryana have made stunning revelations about this. Women and Child Development Minister Kavita Jain said on Tuesday that Haryana government has not appointed Parineeti neither paid her money to be one. Haryana's Health Minister Anil Vij recently tweeted that CM Manohar Lal Khattar didn't let him know about the heroine's involvement in the program.
Seems like these ministers are miffed with Parineeti's inclusion without informing them. Sad that a good cause is also being looked for politics.
