Warning about third wave, AIIMS Director makes key comments

The possible third wave of novel Coronavirus is still a big threat and the country might see a bigger spike in fresh infections if people become negligent and take the contagious disease lightly, AIIMS Director said.

Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi, Dr. Randeep Guleria said as the festival season is approaching, people should be more cautious and follow all the Covid protocols strictly.

Saying that health is the most crucial factor now, the AIIMS Director had appealed to people that unless there is any necessity they should not step out of their houses in the wake of Covid third wave fear.

He had also urged the public to use hand wash and sanitizer more often and if they lay their hands on any surface or they tough anything, they should use a sanitiser without fail.

He had also said that the chances of India seeing the third wave caused by Corina is related to people following the Covid protocols and if people take the situation seriously and follow the protocols the third wave can be stopped.
