Former Pakistan Cricketer Wasim Akram complained he was humiliated at the Manchester Airport. 'Very disheartened at Manchester airport today. I felt very humiliated as I was rudely questioned & ordered publicly to take my insulin out of its travel cold-case & dumped in to a plastic bag,' he said.
Wasim Akram conveyed he doesn't want the Security Personnel to treat him differently from anyone else just because he is a public figure. He just feels the way those Individuals on duty dealt the situation was inappropriate. The Cricketer maintained, 'I understand there are proper safety precautions but that doesn't mean people should be humiliated whilst undergoing them'.
A lot of people remember Wasim Akram as the legend of the game even after several years of his retirement. He was part of Pakistan's 1992 World Cup winning squad.
Playing for Pakistan, Wasim Akram took 414 wickets in 104 Tests and 502 wickets in 356 ODIs. He served as Commentator for 2019 ICC World Cup held in England recently.
