AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu claims AP aims 15 percent GDP Growth for financial year 2017-18 at the CII Summit in Vizag Today. 'While India's GDP stood at 7.2 percent, AP's growth rate is 12.23 percent. We wish to attain 15 percent growth. Currently, We are No.1 in Ease-of-doing Business in the Country. We aim to be in the list of Top 10 in World for Ease-of-doing-Business,' he said.
Naidu announces 328 MoUs worth Rs 4.67 lakh crore were signed during last year's CII Summit. He further adds, '659 projects have been approved and Investments to the tune of Rs 2.82 lakh crore were commissioned in AP in the past one year. No other state was able to attract such huge investments. We are giving a tough fight to Gujarat'.
In 2015, Gujarat topped Ease-of-doing-Business as per World Bank. While AP is at 2nd Spot, Telangana managed 13th Position. AP and Telangana occupied top 2 positions in 2016 by dethroning Gujarat.
