West Bengal is witnessing a strange drama. The Chief Minister and the Governor are at loggerheads. They are sniping at each other and are hurling criticism on one another. After Mamta Banerjee denied entry to Governor Jagdeep Dhankar paid back in kind by accusing the CM f spending public money for her self promotion.

The TRS is opposed to the act and has issued advertisements criticising Narendra Modi government. He also directed the CM to withdraw the advertisements forthwith. Through these advertisement, Mamta Banerjee has also opposed National Register of Citizens, which is sought to be extended to the whole country by the BJP. However, the Governor said that opposing the Act is anti-constitutional and advised Mamta to abide by the Indian constitution.
