The cricketing events which were halted with the ongoing pandemic were resumed and West Indies tour to England will mark the first International tour to be played after the pandemic hit the world.
For this, the West Indies team led by skipper Jason Holder arrived in Manchester on Tuesday for playing the 3-Test series against the English team which will host the series.
As per the guidelines, before departing for England, the West Indies players and the support staff members were tested for the pandemic and tested negative for the virus.
The 3-Test series was earlier scheduled to be played at the Oval and Lord stadiums in the month of June but got postponed due to the outbreak of the ongoing pandemic.
