The village volunteers are ensuring the speedy and prompt delivery of the welfare schemes and are also giving the right feedback about the public mood to the powers that be. Though they are supposed to aid and assist in governance, they are at many times doubling up as the party workers.
There are over 2 lakh such volunteers in AP and these have become the soldiers of the party.
