What KCR Spoke With Modi In 1 Hour?

K Chandrasekhar Rao's First Meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he proposed Federal Front happened Today. This meeting lasted for close to one hour and CM has given a representation to PM on 10 issues related to the Telangana State.

KCR appealed Modi to establish Separate High Court as early as possible and declare Kaleshwaram as a national project. He even sought Prime Minister's cooperation for implementation of new Zonal System, hike in Reservations, increase of Javahar Navodaya Educational Institutions in Telangana and allocation of adequate funds for backward districts.

CM mentioned about the New Secretariat in Telangana during this meeting. He appealed PM to transfer the authority of Bison Polo Grounds to State Government for the new Secretariat. TRS Supremo informed Modi that Defence Minister has agreed to handover the land under its control for the expansion of National Highway 44 and State Highway No.1. He told road expansion will help Government overcome the traffic issues in Hyderabad.  

KCR thanked Centre for granting all the permissions required for Kaleswaram Project within short time. He briefed Modi that Rs 80,000 crore has been spent for Kaleswaram Project with the aim of providing irrigation & drinking water to 18 lakh  acres in 20 Districts. While saying TRS Government allocated Rs 25,000 crore in the state budget & borrowed another Rs 22,000 crore from financial institutions, KCR appealed PM to grant Rs 20,000 crore as central assistance for Kaleswaram Project.

Telangana CM and PM even discussed about Federal Front during this meeting. People will know what are the views they exchanged only if anyone of them speaks out.
