When Mamata Banerjee's Party Is Closing To Win, Prashant Kishor Takes A Big Decision!
Noted election strategist Prashant Kishor, who has worked for Mamta's All India Trinamool Congress (AITC), had always expressed his confidence in AITC winning the West Bengal elections. He even predicted that the BJP will not go past a two-digit figure.
Proving his predictions true, the AITC is leading in 210 Assembly seats out of the 292 seats and the party is all set to sweep the elections with a two-thirds majority. Without the help of any party, AITC will form the government.
To everyone's surprise, when AITC is very close to winning the elections with a majority, Prashant Kishor announced that he is quitting the space.
Prashant Kishor said, he doesn't want to work as a political strategist anymore. Calling this the best time to take a break and focus on something else. I have done enough, Kishor told a leading National Newschannel.
"I do not want to continue what I am doing. I have done enough. It is time for me to take a break and do something else in life. I want to quit this space," Prashant Kishor said.
Mr. Kishor is a successful political strategist, he had worked for BJP in 2014, Nitish Kumar in Bihar in 2015, Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi, and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh. He had guided all the parties towards victory, he worked for.
His decision to quit his Political Strategist space has raised a doubt of him floating his own party. If he floats his own political party, then other parties will have a tough time as he knows how to connect with the masses.
