If everything might have gone well and there was no outbreak of the novel corona virus we would have been celebrating World Health Day today which is celebrated on 7th April every year to mark the Maintenance of good health and a balanced lifestyle.
Following this, WHO has decided to not have any theme this year and came up with a decision to dedicate this day to the medical workers and nurses who have been working hard to treat the COVID patients worldwide.
The WHO took to the social media and urged everyone to thank the health heroes who were the unsung heroes at the time of this sort of pandemic.
"It's #WorldHealthDay! Today, we celebrate the work of nurses & midwives by showing our appreciation for their bravery, courage & resolve in the global #COVID19 response. Tell us who your favourite nurse or midwife is," WHO's Tweet read.
