Social media can make or break people. A small post by Youtuber Gaurav Wasan has turned 80 year-old Kanta Prasad, who runs Baba Ka Dhaba, an overnight celebrity. Wasan wanted the people to support Kanta Prasad and his Dhaba. Overnight money poured into the account of Wasan for Kanta Prasad. But, Kanta Prasad now says Wasan has ruined him and his business.
He says the people are coming to his Dhaba for selfies not for buying food. Secondly, he says Wasan collected over Rs 25 lakh on his name, but gave him only Rs 2 lakh. He gobbled up the remainder, alleges Kanta Prasad. Wasan denies the allegations and said he had given Rs 3 lakh to Kanta Prasad and that he did not gobble up the money. The police said they did receive a complaint from Kanta Prasad and added that they were investigating. Meanwhile, Wasan is trying to sue Youtubers who claimed that he got up to Rs 25 lakh.
