NCP's Ajit Pawar clearly is not afraid of Shiv Sena, nor Congress and not even his uncle and NCP chief Sharad Pawar. But, he is dead afraid of Vaastu. Yes He is wary of occupying the chamber allotted to him. The Chamber No 602 alloted to him in the Maharashtra Mantralaya, according to him, has bad vastu. No minister who occupied the chamber could complete his full term.
In 2012, there was a fire mishap, in which Chamber 602 was completely gutted. So, Pawar does not want to occupy this room. After the fire mishap, BJP's Eknath Khadse occupied the chamber, but had to resign due to the land scam. Later, BJP's agriculture minister Bhausaheb Pundkar occupied the chamber, But, he passed away soon. Later, Anil Borde became the occupant. But, he lost the recent elections. Hence, Pawar is in no mood to occupy the same chamber.
The sixth floor of the Mantralaya (secretariat) has two chambers â one for the CM and the other for the Deputy CM. But, with Pawar not interested to occupy the chamber, efforts are on to find him another chamber.
