At least two ministers in Telangana are now spending sleepless night these days. The reason? They are facing dissidence from within and this could actually prevent them from winning maximum number of seats in their respective areas of influence. Both Ministers Malla Reddy and Sabitha Indra Reddy are finding the going very tough.
Both are facing dissidence from within. While former MLA Malipeddi Sudhir Reddy is sniping at Malla Reddy at every given opportunity, former MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy is wrecking from within. He is trying to put spokes in Sabitha Indra Reddy's attempts to win the maximum number of seats from Rangareddy district. In Rangareddy district, a serious infighting is going on between Teegala, former MLA Mahender Reddy, Tandur MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy and Sabitha Indrareddy. In Medchal, lack of coordination between the top leaders is quite visible in the municipalities of Pirzadiguda, Boduppal and Jawaharnagar. Though KCR himself had intervened twice to set things in order, Sudhir Reddy is alleging that his men were denied B forms. Many have left the TRS and joined other parties. The same situation exists in Dammaiguda, Medchal, Nagaram, Pocharam, Ghatkesar, Gundlapochampalli and Thumkunta civic bodies. There are several rebels in the fray. The situation is dire in all the 22 municipalities and 7 corporations in Ranga Reddy districts.
With KCR warning that they would lose their ministries if the TRS fails to win in their constituencies, both the ministers are very worried. They are afraid that the rebels might play spoilsport. They are now asking the top leaders of the party to intervene and set things in order.
