Why is Chandrababu silent for the past one week?

Update: 2022-03-23 05:50 GMT
For over a week, TDP chief and former CM Chandrababu Naidu has suddenly gone mute. Except for an occasional tweet, Chandrababu is deafeningly silent. He has not gone on the Zoom to talk to the party workers or even address a press conference. This is quite strange for Chandrababu Naidu, who is known for his regular public interaction.

He is silent even when his party MLAs are suspended from the legislative assembly and even when the TDP MLAs are denied a chance to speak. Chandrababu continues to maintain silence. He has also not made a public appearance in the last week. Many party workers are wondering why Chandrababu is so silent.

The last he was seen was when he went to console the kin of the persons who died in Jangareddygudem of West Godavari. Sources say that Chandrababu has gone silent due to the all round demoralization of the party cadre. He is said to have been unnerved by the string of reversals that the party is facing these days.  Kuppam defeat too has depressed him, say some party sources.

But, diehard TDP supporters discount this. They say that Chandrababu Naidu is not one to be unnerved by such reversals. He will fight back, they argue. They say that Chandrababu Naidu is closeted with poll strategists to plan the party's strategy for the coming days. He is also said to be busy reviewing the party's position with these experts.

Whatever the reason, Chandrababu Naidu is keeping unusually silent. He is seen confining himself to his residence and nothing seems to be petering out of the four walls of home. This has heightened interest among both the ruling and the opposition parties about Chandrababu's moves
