Why is Pawan Kalyan not participating in Amaravati protests

Update: 2020-01-07 07:20 GMT
The Amaravati region is witnessing violent protests and unrest strongly opposing the government's rule to have three capitals for Legislature, Executive and Judiciary each. The protests observed by the farmers have reached 21 days till now.

Former CM Chandrababu Naidu has extended his support and sand he is against the decision and opposing this. While many BJP state leaders have also said they are with continuing Amaravati as the capital city of Andhra Pradesh.

One leader who is missing in this entire scenario is Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan whom the critics often term as a "part-time politician". Earlier he said that he is against the decision to have three capitals and said he will go for a hunger strike.

Pawan visited the Tulluru, Uddandarayunipalem villages for one day and extended his support on the capital row. After that, there is no news of Pawan Kalyan on this burning issue. He did not even respond on Twitter too.

Till now GN Rao Committee and BSG Committee have submitted the reports to AP CM Jagan on the possibilities of selecting shore city Vizag as the executive capital for the state. The much anticipated High Power Committee is the final step in the capital row.

Once the High Power Committee gives the final report the shifting of capital from Amaravati will take place. If Pawan Kalyan fails to stand with the farmers of Amaravati he will be a comedian in AP politics.
