There is a sudden change of tone in several TRS MLAs these days. These MLAs have become emboldened especially post the debacles in the GHMC and Dubbak. They are raising several issues in the inner circles and telling the party leaders that they have got an invite from the BJP.
Though some MLAs are steadfastly claiming that they would remain loyal soldiers of the party and would be with KCR, some MLAs and even corporators are using the confusion at the top to bargain with the party. These MLAs, who have been unhappy all these days over the government contracts being awarded without their involvement but could not openly say that, are now questioning this. They remained silent till now when the recommendations came directly from the top. But, now they are said to be making enquiries about those getting contracts and are said to be expressing their displeasure.
These MLAs are said to be taking the ministers to task and are reportedly telling the district leaders and even ministers that they have an offer from the BJP. They are said to be telling the leaders that if the party ignores them, they would join the BJP. All this is turning out to be a headache for the TRS.
