Why is this TRS leader is going house to house begging

Update: 2021-02-07 03:15 GMT
A prominent pro-Telangana activist and a TRS party leader is now on a 'begging' mission. He is now going from house to house to seek alms from the people. Why? He says the party for he had worked so hard and sold his only worldly possession - his house - has ignored him. He has nothing else to do. So, he is forced to go begging, he says.

The leader, Boyi Venkata Ramana, is from Amberpet constituency and has unfurled the party's pink banner in the constituency when the party was founded in 2001. Since then, he had been very active in all party programmes. He had undertaken massive membership drive and was in the forefront of all the protests. He had walked to the AP assembly on his knees demanding Telangana. He had even sold his house to fund the party work. Much to his chagrin, he is now finding that those who have heckled and opposed him during the days of agitation, are now MLAs and corporators, while he is languishing in neglect. The party did not give him any position of importance.

To protest against this, he has decided to take to begging. These days, he is seen going from house to house seeking alms. He says the party has completely ignored him. He says this is the fate of the loyal TRS workers and pro-Telanganites in the TRS regime.
