Beleaguered Mamta Didi of West Bengal is now in trouble and she desperately wants some support from regional parties across the country. With the state poll-bound and with the aggressive BJP luring away key leaders, she now finds that she alone cannot take on a fighting-fit BJP. So, she is planning to hold a massive rally of regional leaders in Kolkata.
But, that's not the news. The real news is that Telangana CM KCR's name does not figure in the guest list. While leaders like Sharad Pawar, Akhilesh, Stalin and others are there in the list, there is no mention of KCR. This comes as a shock to the TRS. The TRS has all along been talking about forging a non-Congress and the non-BJP Federal Front. He always talked of making common cause with Mamta didi. But, in the crunch time, KCR does not even figure in her list of friends.
Interestingly, KCR and Mamta Didi always had a blow-hot-blow-cold relationship. Earlier too, despite the professed bonhomie KCR did not attend the rally that Mamta Banerjee had organised in February 2019. In August 2018 too, Mamta Didi did not invite KCR to her Kolkata rally.
