AP Chief Secretary LV Subrahmaniam declared CM Chandrababu Naidu is a Powerless Chief Minister ever since the Election Code of Conduct has come into effect. TDP Supremo responded seriously on the sensational statement made by the Chief Secretary. He opined, 'If that is the case, Let the Election Commission take back the powers of all the Government in the country. Even the Caretaker Chief Minister will have few powers though he/she can't take policy decisions'.
In the recent tele-conference, Chandrababu Naidu suggested partymen to prepare for the Local Body Elections. He also exuded confidence over the dominant show of TDP in the recently concluded Assembly and Lok Sabha Elections.
Naidu disclosed his plans to write letters to Intellectuals in the country over the EVMs malfunctioning and tampering issue. He is keen to stage a dharna in the National Capital along with like-minded parties seeking counting of 50 percent of the VVPAT Slips. Babu claimed NGOs have been extending support to the movement launched by him. He stressed the need to create awareness among the public over the possibilities of EVM tampering.
