Why No "mamta" on Chandrababu Naidu?

Update: 2021-04-01 04:19 GMT
When Mamta Banerjee wrote the letter seeking cooperation of various political parties, including the Congress, to defeat the BJP in West Bengal, one name was curiously missing. She shot off letters to every Opposition politician around, but not to our dear Chandrababu Naidu. She has completely ignored him.

Chandrababu Naidu, till recently, had tried to position himself as the voice of anti-Modi forces. He had even talked about forming a non-BJP political front. In fact, he had even reportedly helped the anti-Modi parties  with finances and other resources. In fact, during the last Lok Sabha elections, he was everywhere forging anti-BJP alliances. But, Mamta completely ignored him while writing her SoS.

She wrote to  Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, DMK's Stalin, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, YSR Congress chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, BJD chief Naveen Patnaik, Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrashekar Rao, Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav, Rashtriya Jana Dal's Tejaswi Yadav, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal and CPI-ML's Dipankar Bhattacharya saying that the time has come for a 'united and effective.struggle against the BJP's attacks on democracy and the constitution.'

Interestingly, Chandrababu was not sent any letter. This shows his falling stock across the country. In fact, Mamta always suspected Chandrababu Naidu's politics. Chandrababu opposed BJP, but did not hesitate to join it if it suited him. So, she did not trust him. What a fall for a leader who called himself the king in AP and king maker at the Centre.
