Why no one is joining the Congress Party in Telangana?

Update: 2022-10-07 06:32 GMT
Things are not going the Congress way in Telangana. Though the party has formed a Joinings Committee on the lines of the BJP, this has proved to be a non-starter. There have been no significant entries into the party. Not just that, the committee formed under the leadership of former minister and former CLP leader K Jana Reddy is totally defunct.

In fact, former MLA Nallala Odelu, who was sulking over his rival Balka Suman becoming Chennur MLA, almost joined the party. But, at the last moment, he went back and rejoined the TRS. The secret operation that TPCC chief Revanth Reddy planned has gone awry. This was a major shock to the party. Many more leaders, who came tantalizingly close to joining the party, had also backed off.

Both Eatala Rajender and former MP Konda Visweswar Reddy too were wooed by the  Congress Party. However, both backed off at the last moment. Both the leaders have now joined the BJP.  Another leader D Srinivas too has not completely joined the Congress Party. Even Nallala Odelu, who joined the party, but had gone back to the party.

Meanwhile,  Revanth Reddy's plan to re-induct P Janardhan Reddy's daughter Vijaya Reddy has also boomeranged. Senior leader and party's spokesperson  Dasoju Shravan, who was planning to contest from Khairatabad, has resigned from the party. He later joined the BJP. Similarly, former MLA thati Venkateswarlu has also backed off because Mallu Bhattivikramarka has begun supporting his rivals. Thus, the whole plan of making others join the party has boomeranged.
