The grand old Telugu Desam Party had taken the forthcoming general elections in Andhra Pradesh pretentiously. The party is busy making game plans to win the polls. The party leadership is showing interest to join hands with Pawan Kalyan's Janasena for the polls as it did for the 2014 polls.
Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh who is expected to lead the party in the future is doing his part in making the party strong. He will start a padayatra soon and it was named Yuva Galam. A lot of planning went into it to prepare the road map and zero in on the locations Lokesh would cover.
The political heat in Andhra Pradesh increased at once after Andhra Pradesh DGP KV Rajendranath Reddy had written to Telugu Desam Party seeking the details about the route map and vehicles that will be a part of Yuva Galam. Saying that security arrangements should be made for the yatra the DGP sought the details.
But the grand old Telugu Desam Party took a strong objection to this and said that this was nothing but an effort to stop the yatra. The party leaders are even alleging that the YSRCP wants to stop the yatra at any cost.
It has to be mentioned here that the government brought Go No.1 after stampede situations in two events held by the Telugu Desam Party. The Government Order created a big uproar and petitions were filed in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh against this.
The issue is still pending with the High Court. The Supreme Court said that it cannot hear the petition and referred the issue back to the High Court. A bench led by the Chief Justice of the AP High Court will hear the matter.
The AP High Court stayed the matter. But still, the DGP sought all the details. Mentioning that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSR did not face any issues when they held the yatra, the Telugu Desam Party leaders and sympathisers are asking why Jagan is creating such issues now. The yatra is in the news even before it started.
